Do you recognise this couple?
People change, but the couple in this picture has certainly changed a whole lot since 1997. This old photo recently appeared on Instagram. It was taken when these two lovebirds had only been together for a little while. Right now, the two have been married for almost 20 years and they have four children together. Although they’re both ‘retired’, they’re still in the spotlight quite a lot. Do you recognise them already?
1997
These two people, photographed in 1997 in front of her parents’ house, are none other than David and Victoria Beckham (then still Victoria Adams)! We managed to recognise Victoria, with her classic bob and big sunglasses, but David looks like a completely different person here. The typical 90s ‘do with a ton of gel, the polo shirt, the small glasses… We can’t image him wearing all this now!
Disbelief
People on Instagram were completely flabbergasted and reacted with disbelief. “That’s not either of them” and “I thought this was Mulder and Scully” (from The X-Files) were some of the comments. We totally get that, because without tattoos and a ton of muscles, David really does look different. The two have gone through quite a few transformations already, but luckily they’re still very happy together.
